I hope this works for anyone having this problem too.ĭisplayPort to DVI adapter is generic Non - PNP monitor I was so happy that my screen resolution was all perfect again! Haha! Simple =) Then I plugged it to the screen after a few seconds. Solution: what I did unplug the power cable that is connected to the monitor when the PC was on. Problem: the resolution of my screen changed all of a sudden, the screen was LCD ACER monitor., but it changed for non-Plug-and-Play monitor generic. My monitor is plug'nplay (!) and I can not launch the drivers from the site Web V7 because they are 32-bit. The maximum I can choose is 1600 x 1200 which makes all crushed. When I update the drivers, it says that the Non - pnp drivers are up-to-date. I installed the drivers from nvidia windows 7 (190,62) and it works fine, except that I can't change my resolution to 1680 x 1050 for my 22 inch LCD V7 R22W02 display! It presents itself as 'Generic Non - PnP Monitor'.
